Racket / shuttle / session

Find your
court balance.

Build a badminton kit around the way you play. Begin with racket mass and balance, then choose a shuttle material and pack that suit the session. Look beyond colour: shaft construction, grip circumference and stated string tension make the comparison useful.

Badminton racket, feather shuttlecock and plain equipment tube

Even balance. A clear starting point.

Compare this club racket with head-light and rear-court alternatives. Read the length and grip measurements before choosing.

Plan the shuttle tube

Nylon and feather constructions behave differently. Count the shuttlecocks in each tube, not simply the number of tubes.

01 / Balance index

Light at the head.
Balanced in the hand.

Head-light and even-balance descriptions refer to where the racket mass sits, not a promise of a better result. Compare the balance point measured from the butt of the handle alongside unstrung mass. Two rackets with similar overall mass can feel different when the balance changes. Junior length is a separate choice and should not be treated as a lighter adult racket.

Rear Court Racket

Five physical details. One choice.

  1. Length determines reach and handling space.
  2. Unstrung mass excludes the installed strings.
  3. Balance is measured from the handle butt.
  4. Grip circumference describes the handle, not your hand.
  5. Tension range belongs to the specific frame.

Read these details together. The catalogue records the stated construction and permitted tension for each racket, so you can compare like with like. Do not infer a named-brand equivalent, tournament approval or suitability from a colour or an outline.

02 / Material & speed

A tube for the session,
not just the shelf.

Feather and nylon shuttlecocks have different skirt constructions. Check the base material, tube count and speed designation for the selected product. A speed marking is not a universal guarantee of flight in every hall: temperature and playing conditions matter. Keep feather shuttlecocks dry and protect the skirt from crushing between sessions.

Check the grip before the colour.

Compare your present handle circumference with the stated measurement. An added overgrip changes the finished circumference; do not assume the original number still describes a wrapped handle. Note how much space remains between fingers when you hold your current racket without squeezing. If you are changing both length and grip size, consider those changes separately rather than relying on the product name.

03 / Frame care

Stay inside the stated tension.

Does a higher number mean a better racket?

No. A permitted tension range describes the frame specification. It is not an instruction to use the highest value. Check the condition of the frame and consult a suitable stringer before changing the string setup. Do not use a tension specified for another product.

Make a session checklist.

A spare racket and the right shuttle tube solve different problems. Review what is included with each product: a racket does not include a cover unless the construction details say so. For a shared session, count the individual shuttlecocks you expect to use before selecting tubes. Keep the product choice separate from any assumptions about a club's equipment rules.

Select. Review. Request.

  1. Open a product and check the exact SKU, material and measurements.
  2. Add the quantity and review the product subtotal in pounds sterling.
  3. Enter your contact and delivery details. A successful request gives you an order reference for follow-up.

Keep that reference with the product name when you contact us. Please do not include payment credentials in your order notes. Delivery, returns and payment information belong to their dedicated information pages.

Before you head to court

Is one racket right for every player?

No single mass, length or balance is a universal fit. Use your present racket as a comparison and read the exact dimensions of the proposed change.

How should I compare shuttle tubes?

Compare the skirt and base materials, speed designation and number of shuttlecocks per tube. Tube prices cannot be compared meaningfully without the included count.

A specific question gets a useful answer.

Tell us which racket or tube you are considering and what you want to compare. Include the SKU, your current measurements and the intended session rather than asking only for the best product.
